Lawn Watering Tips

Timing is everything… Water your lawn and plants early in the morning – between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m – to avoid frequently watering this summer. Watering in the morning will reduce the amount of evaporation that occurs from the hot afternoon sun. The cooler weather in the morning will allow your grass to soak up more water.

Watering the Right Amount

It is always hard to water your lawn just the right amount; your lawn might actually not need as much water as you think. It only needs about 1 inches of water each week. More water isn’t necessarily better, this summer try and be mindful of how much water your lawn is getting!
