Summer Sprinkler Tips
Playing outside in the sprinkler is one of the best ways to cool down on a hot summer day! While you’re beating the heat this summer, take some time to teach your kids about water conservation. Turn on one sprinkler for your kids over a dry patch in your backyard and set it on a timer of 10 minutes or less. Once the timer goes off, move the sprinkler to the next patch or turn the water off! Try to use the sprinkler between 11AM and 3PM so you’re not watering at the peak times of the day.
It’s easy to teach kids about conserving water during the summer! It’s a good idea to teach them about saving water at a young age, they will most likely carry these lessons into adulthood.
